I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Animal Kingdom is loaded with restrooms. This is especially evident considering the size of this park. I know, I know, it is the “largest park” at Walt Disney World. But take away the savanna, and include only the part where you actually walk around, and it’s a tiny park indeed.
Welcome to Anandapur, the city of bliss! This part of Asia is home to a mysterious forbidden mountain, the Yak & Yeti Restaurant, and a particularly blissful restroom. Of course, any time you have a restaurant with the work Yak in its name, you’d better have a restroom close by.
This restaurant is excellent, but you know what would make it even better? Instead of fixing a toilet when it malfunctions, they should just add flashing strobe lights so it looks scary as you walk by. It would be the most menacing restroom at Walt Disney World.
If you are coming from Dinoland (which you should be because that’s how all the smart people do it), then your journey begins in the small and well-themed village of Serka Zong. Though not as well known as Harambe, this place is just as fantastic! Everything is excellently themed, right down to the English restroom signs.
Tea is big in this part of Asia/the World/Animal Kingdom, and with tea comes restrooms. Do yourself a favor – stop and go before you so carelessly fling yourself around and down mighty Everest. Not only is the ride murder on the bladder, it is also quite terrifying. As you climb up the Forbidden Mountain, a bug may fly in your eye. Then, you may be scared from some shadowdancing. If that’s not enough, you may suddenly get hit by a blast of air as you pass by a statue of the Revered Protector. All too scary to handle without a restroom stop first.
As I said, Animal Kingdom is absolutely loaded with restrooms. If you’re in Asia, you have Anandapur, the Yak & Yeti Restaurant, next to Bradley Falls, and outside Maharajah’s Jungle Trek. If you are coming from Dinoland, Nemo can help you. That is, if you can find him.
Anandapur’s restroom offers the right amount of crowd-level and theming to warrant a visit. Plus, you don’t have to be weary of interference from too may wild animals…
