When attractions get updated, it is a big deal. When they get replaced, it’s a crazy big deal.
Usually, the replaced attraction suddenly becomes beloved and sacred, and what is replacing it can in no way possibly be better. For example, take a look at the mountain of ink spilled for Maelstrom or for Snow White. People shed many a tear thinking of these attractions that have long been sent to Yesterland.
When a restroom is refurbished, however, nobody seems to notice. For example, see today’s topic. I had no idea this restroom was getting updated. I literally walked up and found it totally changed. Had no idea it was going through any refurb. It used to look like this:
Now it looks like this:
As you can see, this represents a huge change and should be written about significantly. The Broadway Plumbing signage is completely gone from the front and side, yet remains on the tower. Additionally, the restroom sign over the door now reads as follows:
Since Gonzo is a whatever from space and is primarily known as a stunt performer, I am not exactly sure why he’s in the toilet business now. Perhaps he’s cashing in on all that extra traffic coming this way due to that star-warsy thing going on down the street. Either way, here’s more pictures. It’s time for saying goodbye!
