Why aren’t there any at all songs about restrooms, and what’s on the other side?
Who is your favorite Muppet? If you said anyone but Sweetums, then you are incorrect. I suppose I also would accept Statler and Waldorf.
At Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, the Muppets have taken Manhattan. And San Francisco. And other non-American but still represented as streets of America…Anyway, funnier than a net full of jello, these Muppets have occupied this spot for over two decades, and the show is much the same as the day this attraction opened. So what’s the deal with them, I ask? Why does this corner of the park always have a healthy crowd? Are the Muppets as iconic as, say, certain Spanish-Influenced Pirates, or Small Worlds of the World?
Or is it just good placement? Flashing lights at Christmastime plus the next step after a quick tour around the galaxy plus crowds forming for the next showtime generates one of those atypical Disney park bottlenecks.
As you wait, really take a look around here as there are plenty of Muppet touches all over the Streets of America. Take a few minutes to enjoy the fountain out front, for example.
As there are crowds moving from Indiana Jones and Star Tours, and an attraction that is a show, you can expect crowds to accumulate around this restroom. It may be a nice respite from afternoon rains if you happen to be over here at that time. Or, you could just stroll down the street and stop under the umbrella.
But, if you really want to avoid crowds, why not walk down Commissary Lane and do the opposite of the rest of America? – Experience American Idol!
