If you want something delicious and you are standing in the Oasis, go to Flame Tree Barbecue.
If you want other food, go to Pizzafari. One of two restaurants on Discovery Island, Pizzafari boasts its own dedicated restroom. This is rather peculiar, considering there’s a restroom right next door. Seriously, it is right there! So much room, so much opportunity.
I’ve always said that Animal Kingdom boasted an abundance of restrooms for its size. This is just more proof. There are three sets of restrooms in the park’s hub! Contrast that with the zero in the Magic Kingdom’s hub (sure, there are several bordering the hub, but I’m rolling here). Anyway, where was I? Lost my train of thought there. Oh yeah, restrooms.
This restaurant/restroom would be an “on the way out” type stop. First, take a safari, then head out and on your way, take a Pizzafari. Should be about lunchtime anyway. I’m kidding. Not really. Okay, I am. Go get yourself something delicious to eat.
Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I must admit I have never used this restroom. However, I’ve received conflicting reports about it. Some say that it smells like pizza. Others say it smells like nothing but a restroom. So you tell me: How’s the smell in there?
They serve food? With both Flame Tree and Yak & Yeti counter service as options, I assumed Pizzafari and Restaurant-osaurus were just elaborately themed restroom entrances.
ha!
